How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your Pocket Rogues account and related data, send an email to:
Please include the following information in your request:
- that you are requesting account deletion and/or deletion of data associated with your account;
- the platform you use to play Pocket Rogues, such as Google Play, App Store, or Steam;
- your in-game account email, if one is linked to the account;
- any other information that can help identify the correct account, such as your in-game name, platform account name, or approximate date of registration.
If possible, please send the request from the email address linked to the account. If you no longer have access to that email address, additional information may be required to verify that you are the owner of the account.
Do not send your password or any other secret authentication information.
Requesting deletion from the game
Pocket Rogues includes an account deletion link in the account or legal section of the game. This link opens this page, where you can find the current instructions for requesting account and data deletion.
If you have already uninstalled the game or cannot access your account, you may still request deletion by email as described above.
What data will be deleted or anonymized
When an account deletion request is verified and processed, EtherGaming will delete or anonymize eligible data associated with the account, which may include:
- account profile data stored by EtherGaming;
- email address or other account contact information stored by EtherGaming;
- cloud save data;
- in-game progress data stored in cloud services;
- account-related game data connected to Pocket Rogues;
- purchase-related in-game entitlements stored by EtherGaming, where applicable and technically possible.
Deleting an account is permanent. Deleted cloud saves, account data and progress may not be recoverable.
Data that may be retained
Some information may be retained where necessary for legitimate reasons, including:
- security;
- fraud prevention;
- abuse prevention;
- prevention of cheating, exploit abuse, save abuse, or ban evasion;
- enforcement of the End User License Agreement or rules of conduct;
- dispute resolution;
- tax, accounting, refund, chargeback, or transaction records;
- compliance with legal obligations.
For example, if an account was suspended or banned for cheating, exploit abuse, save manipulation, abusive behavior, fraud, or other violations, EtherGaming may retain a limited enforcement record. This record is used only for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes.
Platform transaction records may also be retained by Google, Apple, Steam, payment providers, or other platform operators according to their own policies and legal obligations. EtherGaming cannot delete data that is controlled only by those third-party platforms.
Account deletion and banned accounts
You may request account deletion even if your account has been suspended, restricted, or banned.
However, account deletion does not remove suspensions, bans, restrictions, or other enforcement actions applied for violations of the EULA or rules of conduct. Account deletion is not an appeal of a ban and does not guarantee access to online features, cloud saves, multiplayer, leaderboards, or other account-based services.
If a banned account is deleted, EtherGaming may still retain limited information necessary to prevent cheating, fraud, abuse, or ban evasion.
What happens to online features
After account deletion is completed, you may lose access to online features associated with that account, including:
- cloud saves;
- account-based progress transfer;
- multiplayer features;
- leaderboards;
- account-related support or recovery.
If the game allows offline play, you may still be able to play offline, depending on the version, platform, and local data available on your device. However, deleted cloud data and account data cannot be guaranteed to be restored.
Data retention period
After receiving and verifying an account deletion request, EtherGaming will process the request within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or technical reasons.
During this period, you may cancel the deletion request by contacting:
After the deletion request has been completed, the deleted account data and cloud save data may not be recoverable.
Verification and safety
Account deletion is a serious and potentially irreversible action. To prevent accidental deletion or deletion by someone who does not own the account, EtherGaming may require additional verification before processing a request.
If the request cannot be verified, EtherGaming may ask for additional information or may be unable to complete the deletion request.
